The Centurion served as the primary British Army main battle tank from its introduction in 1945 and saw extensive combat across multiple conflicts until the 1980s. Historical Significance: The Centurion tank was developed in 1943, with production beginning in 1945. It first saw combat during the Korean War in 1950 and later in numerous conflicts including the Indo-Pakistani War of 1965, Six-Day War of 1967, and Yom Kippur War of 1973. The tank was widely adopted and adapted by various countries, seeing service into the late 20th century.

Versatility and Adaptations: The Centurion's chassis was adapted for various roles beyond the main battle tank, including armored personnel carriers and combat engineering vehicles. The tank's versatility ensured its prolonged service life and presence in numerous armies worldwide.

Kit Features
Build Options: The kit provides options to build either the Mk 3 or Mk 5 variant of the Centurion.

Mk 3: Equipped with a 20pdr (84mm) gun, shorter hull, 2 stowage positions for track links on glacis, and a two-inch (51mm) mortar in the turret. Vehicle weight: 49 tons.
Mk 5: Features Browning machine guns on coaxial and commander's cupola mounts, deletion of the turret roof mortar, extra stowage bin on the glacis, and additional guide roller in the track run. Vehicle weight: 51 tons.
Detail and Realism: The model includes options for all hatches to be open or closed, side skirts, and configurations for different combat scenarios (WW2 or Korean War).

Accessories and Crew: Comes with a tank commander figure, adding realism and narrative potential to the model.

Construction Materials: As with other Rubicon kits, this model requires ABS cement for assembly.
